*read full title* We had the same problem with our speakers, but we got those to work again. I have tried going to the device manager and seeing if the USB was disabled, but it says that it is enabled. Weird. On my printer, it has a USB for the camera to print pictures off of it, and that works fine, but that doesn't work when you want to upload pictures!! SOOOO...I don't know what to do now. =[ Any ideas?

Also, there isn't any other USB outlets in the back of the computer to use. There's only one in the front.

You need to connect the cables coming from the front connectors to the pins on the MB. ~

Check your motherboard again. Perhaps the rear USB ports are just in a different position and were covered by the back plate. For the front USB ports, they normally have wires (4 pairs) inside the casing that connect to the motherboard. Check the motherboard manual or download a copy from the manufacturer's website to check the USB ports and connectors of you board.

There should be a small USB cable that runs from the front ports to the motherboard. If your new Motherboard does not have a place to plug in this cable, then you will need to buy a adapter card that supports "internal" USB ports as well as the external ports on the back of the card.

OK if the ones on the back work, it isn't software. The port isn't plugged onto the new motherboard. That's all.
