A "weed" is actually an opinion word. It's something you don't want in your yard.
If you were to let all of your plants grow naturally, you would notice that your weeds grow fastest, because the grass will eventually outgrow the "weed." This is a natural biological protection of the species. Since you cut your grass, the weeds seem to be outgrowing everything else.

You're mowing your grass too short. Set the mower as high as it will go. When the weeds just start showing, mow again. Keep it up, and you'll have a beautiful, grassy lawn. Weeds have to get up high enough to make seed. By mowing the grass higher, frequently, grass gets enough green on it to keep it healthy and to make it increase. And the weeds never get high enough to make seed for next time around.

it would be an excellent thought to tug all the weeds or a minimum of practice an excellent weedkiller and then replant the grass. The weeds are "stealing" alot of the available nutrition that the grass might decide for to advance. If the weeds are present day, your grass will continuously look kinda sickly.

First, you have to realize that weeds are plants too. The plants (grass) you are trying to grow is probably not indigenous to your area (temperature, humidity, etc.,) whereas the plants you are calling weeds are very happy growing right where they are. This is not rocket science-you can surely see the reasons for the weeds' prosperity.

It would seem as if Sara's answer corresponsds with little lulu. Tall weeds can only be dealt with if you have a higher grass height.
Cheers!

Different plants have different nutritional needs. I don't worry about mine, but if you choose to then seek professional help. Some of those guys are so good at lawns that it looks like miracles have occurred. Good luck!
