If the horse likes and will eat the muffins, yes, they can be fed without danger. Bran muffins are made from wheat bran in most cases, and wheat bran is also what bran mashes are made from. Most horses I know LOVE bran mash- it's like hot cereal to them. As long as you feed the muffins in moderation ( and AVOID feeding them out of your hands, as this will encourage the horse to nip and to bite, which can be dangerous) then it's perfectly safe. Crumble the muffin into some small pieces, and sprinkle it over the horse's regular feed in their feed tub or pail. If they like the taste, they will eat it. Hope this helps !!
