Alice Cooper was great. his shows set such a different standard for rock shows. also Geddy Lee of Rush had an amazing stage performance too, he was always so full of energy and enigma, he was always fun to watch

this is a tough question to answer.... however, if you listen to most muscians in the rock genre (via documentaries such as: Metal: A Headbanger's Journey; The History of Metal; or the History of Rock N Roll... most say either David Lee Roth (Because he changed the way a frontman is supposed to perform) or Axl Rose (As long as it was on a good night and not during one of his many tantrums)
