Ask yourself these questions....if you answer yes to all of them then maybe you are ready to drive.
Are you a responsible person ?
Homework on time ?
Chores done without complaint ?
Do you overstep your time limits on the Internet?
Do you overstep your time limits on the telephone?
Do you understand that your parents car is how they get to work?
If you have an accident and damage the car do you understand they won't be able to get to work?
Do you know what auto Insurance costs?
Do you understand what gas costs?
Do you understand cars are extremely dangerous?
Do you understand your parents only want to keep you safe from harm?
Are you willing to pay your fair share of the operating cost for the car from your paycheck?
If you can honestly answer yes to all of these questions then print the letter, put a yes next to each question, pass the written road test and give the whole thing to your Mom or Dad.
I wish you luck ....I mean it, and don't forget....tough love is the most love !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, it would help if we knew what their objection was. Whatever it is, you need to counteract it. They don't feel that you handle it? Show how responsible you can be.

I'm sure they have good reasons. Trust their judgement. Have you asked them why?
