They will trade Adam Dunn because they will not be able to sign him to a new contact. His current contract has a clause that says if he is traded his contract will end at the end of the season. That means anyone who takes him this year will have to have the ability to sign him next year and that only keeps a few teams in the running. I look for Adam Dunn to be traded to the Dodgers before year end.

Most likely he will be traded before the deadline. They can't afford to sign him as a free agent, and there are 3 teams in the NL West who need power BADLY. The Dodgers, Padres, and D-Backs would all be interested, and he could shift the balance of power in the division. I think that he will end up a dodger. They have the prospects to make the deal work (James Loney, Matt Kemp, Chad Billingsly, Jonathan Broxton), and they need a middle of the order hitter. Look for the Reds to ship off a couple of players this summer, including griffey and dunn.

They are foolish to do that. They keep trading great players for medicore and never get any better. No wonder they are in last place.

yea they have to because they need pitching and teams need a bat like his

i know it would never happen but the Mets should look into him because Delgado sucks unless they try to sign texeria in the offseason or Yankees because Giambi is done
