Because decent people know in their hearts that another Clinton Presidency would divide this already volatile country even further apart.
It was under Bill's Presidency that liberals and conservatives began to loathe one another. (they stuck up for a deviant perverted liar)

I hate that Hillary's running and doing so well right now, but the only way you'd ever see me even consider voting Republican (except in the instance of small local elections, perhaps) is if Ron Paul was nominated. Giuliani's a two-faced lying crook who made 9/11 worse, censored criticism of him in NY, is responsible for police brutality in his former City, has lied to both liberals and conservatives about his stances on abortion, gun control, and gay rights, and has numerous mob ties. McCain isn't too terrible, but he's getting old, is a little too hawkish, and is pandering to the base too much. However, at least he works with Dems sometimes and compromises, and he actually has a lot of military experience and wouldn't just be BSing about being a "Wartime president" like Bush. (I wouldn't vote for McCain, but I wouldn't hate him nearly as bad as Bush or Giuliani. He should've gotten the 2000 nomination in my opinion) Fred Thompson's just a lazy old fool who talks out of both sides of his mouth.
Also, I'd rather be put in prison than sit out an election, so even if Hillary does get nominated, I'll still vote for her to help keep from getting one of the Reps' horrible candidates from getting elected. In the primaries though, I'm going for Obama or Edwards.

No Democrat has to vote for Mrs. Clinton. If people are vacating the Democrat party they may be trying to disassociate themselves from the people financing and the people running the party at this time.
How would you feel if Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid were your leaders and George Soros was the money source? I would get out myself.

Don't know but I am life long Republican and I am considering voting for her. As a veteran I look at what the candidates are doing for vets. She has the best plan to right a long running injustice. If the poll picked McCain over anybody then it was slanted from the beginning. McCain is at the bottom of all the polls taken about the Republican Party.
America has spoken and demanded the end to the war in Iraq. If no Republican comes up with an exit strategy or a plan to win then hilliary will win.

I would too. She's one of the most bigoted people towards a huge percentage of Americans and she spews nothing but anger and blame. I know highway patrolmen in Arkansas that used to deal with her and Bill. They're a frightening couple.

Well, you don't have to switch parties to vote for the president! Maybe in the primaries.
I think, if you look at the 2006 election, the mass exodus was not from the democrats. There are other candidates out their. I sure and hell would not switch to the party of hate!

The empress has no clothes. I am a conservative and I would vote for a democrat if they were qualified. I agree the republicans have been screwing things up too long and I am sick of them. Maybe they should put up someone worthwhile.
Joe Lieberman
Ben Nelson
Two of my favorite democrats.

The answer is in the article, according to one Democrat votor "...she's condescending and arrogant, even worse than Al Gore, who has no personality."

You mean Hillary is the only Democrat running?
Hmmm.
And here I have been wasting my time supporting Mike Gravel.

As an Independent I figure -
1. Hilary can't win.
2. I don't trust her.
So for now, I'm backing Obama - he's not perfect. But he hasn't done anything to make my blood boil - yet.
