I think "Juicy Fruit" by Mtume has been sampled waaay to much. Biggie Smalls, Warren G & now Keisha Cole just to name a few.
Also "Between the Sheets" by the Isley Brothers has been overly sampled by people like Biggie Smalls and a Tribe called Quest when they did "Bonetta Applebom".

Stay With Me by Debarge is the basis for 2 huge urban hits (1995's One More Chance by Notorious BIG and 2002's Foolish by Ashanti)
The Payback by James Brown seems to pop up in a lot of cd credits, though I can't name them off the top of my head
Glow of Love by Change was sampled in Billy Lawrence's Up & Down (1998), Aretha Franklin's Here We Go Again (1999) and Janet Jackson's All For You (2001)
Juicy Fruit by Mtume was sampled by Faith Evans and Notorious BIG (in different songs) and probably lots of others

Dang, this is a hard one. But I know that James Brown has been sampled the most. Parliament/Funkadelic's music:(NOT JUST) KNEE DEEP-De La Soul's-(ME MYSELF AND I) Betty Wright(CLEAN UP WOMAN),Lynn Collins(IT TAKES TWO),it is very hard to say what song was sampled the most? BUt all the old school artist have been sampled a time or two:ARETHA,CURTIS,STEVIE,BOBBY,ISLEY BROTHERS,BOOTSY COLLINS,SLY STONE,MIDNIGHT STAR,just to name a few!!

I think 'All Outta Love' it was originally done by Air Supply but Jagged Edge and Az Yet both did covers. It's played a lot.

Hmm that's a good question. I heard the O'Jays "Cry Together" beat in a couple of songs. I'm not sure I might research it just out of curiosity.
