When i use a full scan with avg anti virus do i have to watch to see if it has found any virus or can i just look at it when it is done with the whole scan, then take out any virus it might find. Sorry iam new to this. Thanks for all the help.

It depends on whether or not you have set it to automatically correct errors/delete viruses...

Just let it run til it's finished. If there IS anything you need to pay attention to, it will pop-up on screen. Otherwise, just let it run and do whatever else you need to do!

You can start the scan and go do something else till its done. If there are any viruses it will list it at the end and give you a choice of what action to take.

With AVG you need to look at it often because once it finds a virus it stops scanning and awaits your directions.

It will create a log file after each scan so you can view and decide what action to take

After AVG's scan, it will report any threats that it finds.
