You would check your local civic centers and chambers of commerce. I know that in my area the civic centers and the convention centers are the ones who usually have them. Just go or call them (email) and ask if there are any in the area and if so when and ask how you can enter. Also, you may want to check out schools.

Don't forget to check Grocery store and Church announcement boards. Fire Halls are also big on raising money thru craft shows here, too. And sometimes the local flea market has special craft days where you can only sell craft items, not the other junk.
Best Wishes!

If you are looking for information on how to make money at craft shows go to www.shellcrafts-guides.com and then to the resource page (use button on left). There's a couple of books there that may be able to help you.

I have had good luck just by googling "craft show" or "craft fair" and then the name of my city. county or state. I also go to the local newspaper website and search there for articles where people have publicized that they are looking for crafters. If you watch the newspaper and your local cable access channel, often you will see organizations calling for crafters.

Your county tourism office should have a calender of events that includes who to contact for more information about each event.
