We have this thermostat at work and it was programmed by someone long ago and now no one really knows how to get it to keep cooler air coming as it has been set to run various programs and now we dont need those programs we just need it to run.

Is there anyway to "purge" the programs that are in so it can just be turned off and on to cool when need be?

Thanks

This is the model we have....
and I do not need it to be programmed per say just have the AC come on as needed when we are in that area...

I see the instructions for setting all the programs (wake, sleep away, etc) I just want it to be completely reset so there is no programs at all in the memory...
or all set to the same thing

UGH been dealing with this for days now

Reprogram the T-Stat, or place in override position.

Is this a gold thermostat with the door on the front to cover the buttons? It can be reprogrammed, and locked out so that no one can alter the base program.

I could not find instructions on the Honewell site, but did find a contact link: https://www.honeywell.com/sites/portal?smap=honeywell&page=customeracs&theme=T9&c=n&BU=Solutions%20for%20Homes&SBU=Thermostats&mail=ecccustomercare@honeywell.com&web=http://content.honeywell.com/yourhome/ptc-thermostats/thermostat.htm

You will be programming these things: Occupied heat, occupied cool, unoccupied heat, unoccupied cool, and the time that the office is occupied and unoccupied on a routine schedule.

Occupied heat & cool is the comfortable temperature you would like the room to be when occupied, say 68 for heat and 74 for cool. Unoccupied heat & cool is the temperature the building can go to when no one is there and the pipes won't freeze, the plants won't die, and the unit can recover from on Monday morning without much effort.

You will need a hex key to remove the stat from the wall and check that the dip switch on the back is set for keypad on.

It is confusing setting the program, but go to the set button, then press day, press occupied, press the up or advance key to bring it to Monday, press heat, then set the temperature with the up/down button. Repeat for cooling, and unoccupied.

It is much easier and less headache to replace the stat with a vision-pro unit, as the programming is much easier and the stat looks so much nicer.

Your thermostat has batteries. Remove the cover, remove the batteries for one minute. Now you will have to reset your settings. Factory settings probably don't exist. You will have to set for heat and cool.
