The problem that you will run into is there is no way to secure the vehicle inside the box of the truck. Without it being secured, it will shift position while you are driving, and may cause serious damage to the car, other items in the truck and the truck!! You also would have to find a way to load and unload the the car. most likely you would have to pay a rollback tow truck to help you do it!!
Most rental companies have a clause in the rental contract that prohibits you from transporting a motor vehicle in the truck.
You do not say how much stuff you have to move, but even with a 24 or 26 foot box truck (the largest that are rented to consumers) you would be using most of the interior space for the car. You would be better off getting a smaller truck, if your stuff would fit in it, and towing your car!!
Your car is a front wheel drive, so a tow dolly will work fine. You could also get a car trailer, and transport your car with all four wheels off the ground.

No, first it wouldn't fit in the truck bed, and even if you had a smaller sports car that would, the bed is too high off the ground to drive into it without ramps. Get the tow dolly.

Sure, but you have to make sure of two things:
Your car will actually fit (don't forget the side mirrors!)
The inside of the van has points which you can use to secure the car so that it won't move.
You wouldn't want to hit a bump and have your car get knocked back and crush your hummel figurine collection. Unless the inside of the truck has spots, preferably on the floor, where you can attach tie-down straps (NOT bungee cords!) I would recommend against doing this.

When I moved last time I didn't want to use a dolly either so I had a friend drive it. If you don't want to spend the gas go with the dolly.
The anwer to the question is no. They won't insure it.

the floor of the van or truck they rent will not be strong enough to support your car. may not be wide and tall enough either.

If the truck you are putting it in can haul that much weight, ask the companies you are checking with and tell them what your plans are
