I have a molly that is female and pg how can I tel lif she is having babies....she is laying on the bottom of the tank and breathing harder than normal.... i know that sounds odd but im wondering if shes having bbies or if she is ill how do i know and what should i do

A molly will start to "box up" before dropping her fry (having her babies). This means her sides and stomach will flatten. She will also tend to go to place away from other fish. Some will choose around the heater, some a plant or ornament, some laying on the bottom. If she looks like she's squared up, then she's probably getting ready to drop her fry or she might already be in the process of doing so.
