I am moving from Virginia to Alabama in 2 months. I had planned on getting a full sized U-haul for my things but my new apartment is furnished so now I have to take far less. Can you put a hitch on a 91 Nissan Sentra that could pull one of those little Uhaul trailers? Would the car have enough power? Would Uhaul allow it? Its the only car I have and I can't see to waste the money on a full 10 foot truck when it will only be 1/5 full now.

Firstly, i wouldn't suggest it. Go to Uhaul.com and check it out. It would probably be cheaper to rent the small Uhaul truck and tow your car there. They offer car tow devices. The engine and transmission in your car would suffer greatly in a towing situation, not to mention, the highway acceleration problems you would encounter with so little power. Another option is a car top carrier and packing your car. Good luck.
