Why do you feel that they are? If they come off as having that kind of an attitude then perhaps it is just the individual.
If it is the fact they seem ignorant why not ask them why they feel that way or believe that way?
Maybe they can show you from the bible are only guide book on why they feel that way. This will give you an opportunity to tell them things that will enlighten them.
Maybe you can help them?
