Jonah? That might get the kid stuck with a reputation as being a bringer of bad luck.
How about substituting Jonathan for Jonah?
BTW, I like Matthew. I know it would not sound as well, but you could always reverse the order and call the little guy Matthew Jonah, and call him MJ or just Matt.
