I got one for $80 at Home Depot. It's a no-name brand, it's going on it's 3rd year of operation. The handles fell off of it because it's cheap, but it still runs fine.

Beware of the low-cost unit. You must also take into account the cost of running the air cooler, unless you don't pay for electricity. Look for a unit that will cool the room you are in, and compare wattages of those units. The higher the "Btu" and lower wattage unit will cost less to operate.
If it is just low cost, look in the thrifty nickel ads, and test the unit for 10 minutes before you hand over your $. If it is going to fail, it will do so within 10 minutes, but could run 5 minutes before dying.

you have walmarts all over the metro area silly. go to their web site and punch in your zip code. I was at three last week in the area. thouey blvd, dupage county, schaumburg.
they are like doo doo in a barnyard, you gotta keep side stepping to avoid them
