Has a food ever smelled really weird to you?

My husband just made popcorn and it smelled like sweaty shoes somebody wore without socks.

Oh dear lord, you're kidding me! I would have to vacate the premises! I get weird about food, sure. If anything looks funny or smells funny I'm not eating it. I've also sent food back at restaurants and not eaten anything if I think something is off. I vote for no more sweaty foot popcorn. Ew.

Yea, its called food spoilage. If the popcorn has been left were it is warm but still sealed up then the oil goes rancid, hence the spoilage.

And ice cream does smell weird, whats with that?

lmao, eggs, when i was pregnant with my 3rd child, i could not stand the smell of eggs. no matter how they were prepared. the slightest smell of an egg, i would start gagging. sorry, but this is very true. i could not even go into a restaurant for the fear of smelling eggs.

Yes, my new neighbors are from India or Pakastan or somewhere like that. It looked like they were frying fish the other day (I can't be sure) but it smelled like butt!
