Clinton helped create a greater economic boom and was able to balance the budget and create a surplus, something far more economically conservative than anything Bush has done. Sure he had sex out of wedlock, big deal it doesn't matter since we're judging him as a president and not as a person.

Well first off I voted for Bush both elections. Lets face in 200 and 2004 the Dems offered up lame duck candidates. But as for the Bill vs Dubya I have to go with Bill. Main reason I just have 0 faith in the people Dubya has around him like Cheney. Everytime I see him I think of the Emperor from Star Wars.

This is a great question. I'll just add that they were both better than Jimmy Carter!

But here are a few points for everyone to go crazy over.

Bill:

1) He lied. Let's get to the point. He lied to his wife, to the justice department and mostly to you and me. He had relations with that woman.

- Once he left office he pleaded guilty to it in a plea deal.

2) Economy. We had the tech bubble, that was good. But the last year of his adminstration the economy was heading south quickly. By the time he left office we were in a ression.

3) Black Hawk down! This is the same as Waterloo, as far as I'm concerned. We cut and ran!

4) But what did Bill acomplish?

-- Medical F Hillary's did not get far.
-- Welfare A+ elimited most of it. Stoped many give away programs.
-- Foreign affairs C foreign governments loved him. Remember he gave the North Koreans Nuclear fuel!
-- Congress F Lost it to Republicans who marginalized his presidency.

Bush:

1) Not the sharpest tool in the shed.
- Funny how he keeps fooling everyone, including the incredibly brilliant Hillary. Who claims that she voted for the war because he some how duped her. Strange.

2) Medical benefits --
- prescription drug plan. it had a rocky start but as the care giver for my parents. It's a blessing. We pay much less for medicine than we did before.

3) Economy -- It's even better than Clinton.
- I'm a small business owner. What kills me is this minimum wage discussion. I cannot hire anyone for less than $10.00 per hour. The available work force is so small it hurts!

4) Defecit -- Bad the war is hurting here. No question about this one.

5) Negitive Press -- the guys just seems to attract it. Everything is his fault.

6) Immigration -- Bush is not with is traditional Republican friends on this one, and it has cost him with his base.
-- This remains a big issue for this country.

7) Terrorism -- We got hit. We are losing people in foreign lands. It's costing us big, flat out it's ugly. But so far we are not doing another Black Hawk cut and run. It would cost us big!
--- This President makes it possible for me to sleep at night!

8) THE WARS -- I don't like them, but I hated 9-11 too.

Please even if you hate the war! Really support our troups!

So what did Bush Acomplish thus far:

Medical Benefits -- B prescription durg plan not perfect
Welfare -- NA Bill pretty much got rid of most free hand outs.
Foreign Affairs -- D Not a popular guy around the world. But It's still all here, and making progress.
Congress -- F He lost it like Bill did.

Actually Clinton did something legally wrong. He was disbarred for providing incorrect information during a sexual harassment investigation. He was sworn to uphold the law as a Lawyer. Uphold the truth as a President and protect US. He did none of the above. It saddens me that the perception is the man just simply got a job B and cheated on his wife. It goes further in depth than the acts he continued in the Oval Office as our enemies prepared for attack on our shores. He was distracted and then in an attempt to save himself compounded the contempt.
GWB has had no legal proceeding initiated at this point against him. That is just public perception. If he had violated the law he would be in impeachment hearings as we speak. It is a politician game. Pushed by an early election season that includes a Clinton. The female Judge that sat b4 Starr and Clinton had an agenda. I can't give the reference now. 2009 you will see a list of co-conspirators on cabinet with Hillbill "when" as she puts it she is elected. I pray America wakes up. Bush is not running but demolish the credibility of the Republican Party is the goal there. Dirty expensive politics. Clinton's are masters at it.
George W. is my pick history will find in 20 yrs time the better President. Thank you.

I don't care who Clinton slept with. She was the age of consent. Hillary obviously came to terms with it and Monica didn't seem to have an issue.

And those are the only three people whose business ANY of that was.

The fact of the matter is that Clinton could be militarily aggressive (Somalia and Kosovo) but he always sought international consensus. He never frightened the rest of the world or left it with the impression that the USA thought itself the only country that mattered.

He oversaw the greatest period of economic growth in USA history and left us with a government surplus for the first time in my lifetime.

GW squandered all that. The sad thing is that with the way he has eroded our liberties and alienated the rest of the planet, when another 9/11 happens I fear the world consensus will be, "You had it coming."

Bush,

say what you will, Bush has not lied under oath and been proven to be a perjurer. I have a moral compass that you apparently are missing, a President that lies under oath regardless of the reason can never be judged to be any more than a liar.

Bush of course.
And you are mistaken. Bush did not break any laws of the Constitution, or anything else.
If he had, the Democrats are going along with it.
You are silly.
Anyone who says Clinton is the best, isn't holding down a job. They don't work.
