i know you're supposed to measure the fullest size of your breasts and right under your breasts above you're rib cage, but can you tell me how to, from those measurements, figure out your bra size at home? thanks

Measure your ribcage (in inches), right under your bust. Add 4 or 5 inches, whichever will give you an even number. ie you measured 29, 29+5= a band size of 34.

Measure the fullest part of your breast, take that measurement and subtract your band size from it. This will give you your cup size. A difference of 1 inch = A cup, 2 inch = B cup, 3 inch = C cup.

It will still be best to try every bra on, since not every bra is the same but this gives you a good place to start. Also when you buy a bra it's good to buy one that fits good on the loosest clasp on the band if you can. As the bra ages it will stretch and become slightly bigger, this extends the life of your bra because you can still make it tighter.

Measure around your breasts at the nipple at the widest part. Round that measurement up to the nearest inch.

Then measure around your chest under the breasts. Round it up. If the measurement is an even number add four. If its an odd number add five. This is because you see no band sizes that are ODD numbered. This measurement is your band size.

Subtract the second measurement from the first.

One inch is an A, two inches is a B, three inches is a C, etc.

You could always go to Sears or JCPenney or Nordstroms to get sized. I do not recommend Victoria Secret only because I've heard bad reviews of being sized by them if you are somewhat of a big breasted girl, also I went there to get sized and they were way off.

1) Measure right UNDER your breasts.

2) Measure your bust (the fullest part of breasts).

3) Now, for each inch in difference between those two measurements is a cup size.

Example:
If measurement 1 is, say, 34 inches, and then measurement 2 is, say, 37 inches, then there's a 3 inch difference (A, B, C,) so that would be a 34 C.

you subtract the bigger measurement by the smaller one and if you get 1 then you are an A cup, if you get 2 you are a B cup, 3 a C cup and so on
