Don't be fooled by the responses here--these people are recruited by the neocons to give you a skewed view of the real America. They are a tiny minority and that's why Bush's official approval rating here is 27% at best. People like me often get suspended by Yahoo Answers with no reason stated and get violations for no reason, also (I was already suspended once). It's an attempt to hide the true views of the majority of Americans who are sick of Bush's lies and how he has ruined our country.
The truth is, hardly any American voted for Bush during the second election. The ones standing in line in the pouring rain for 2-6 hours were NOT suffering there to re-elect Bush--they wanted CHANGE. This shows how corrupt out political system is--that you have to wait hours to vote because you have to share ONE computerized voting machine that either breaks down or cast a vote for Bush when you selected Kerry. We are no different from third-world countries like Mexico where the people have no say and they had a recent presidential election where the conservative supposedly won by a narrow margin also. Sounds familiar, doesn't it?
"because he is great man of god and won of the greatest americans ever!!! he's doin a great job!!!!!!!"
Says user "chuckles" (below) who asks, "What is public hair?" and claims to be 12 years old.

The only bush I ever voted for, was one I was trying to get into. Republicans have a great propaganda machine and plenty of people willing to believe that machine. Mr. Rove the character assassine did a great job of painting Kerry and Gore as something they weren't. Didn't you see all of the people clapping their flip-flops together during the republican convention like mindless lemmings?

Of the candidates running there were only two choices. I would not even consider John Kerry. Bush was the most sincere. He is a conservative, with similar values as me and my family.
The news medias focus was on Al Gore, and many of the topics they covered on him, to me, seemed over the top (advertising). They clearly had a favorite. But, they have no business choosing a favorite. In their position that is dangerous. Therefore I concluded that they were holding back on Bush. And they were. I am prowd of the choice I made and would do it again if given the chance.
An Excellent, civilized question... Thank you.

Because we're in a lose-lose situation right now.
If you vote democrat, you vote for communisim by way of socialism and for giving away country and moral degredation.
On the other hand, the republicans are going to trash the earth and put the screws to the middle class.
No winners here.
But to answer your question ... The slow downhill spiral of Bush seemed better than the fastrack deathknoll of the democrats.
whatever.

unfortunately yes, his 2nd term. he has lied to the citizens of the US countless times. It is apparent that he does not care for Americans by the way he runs this country. Iraq, immigration, middle class is shrinking, exporting millions of American jobs overseas, the border, hurricane Katrina, rescue workers on 911, and 911 itself to name a few of his complete mistakes he's made during his presidency.

Bush or John Kerry or bush or AL gore you have to ask why we voted bush in? Because I didn't want to become a Muslim slave and I believe in freedom. Even though I don't agree with his immigration policy

I voted for Bush both times, and I'm not ashamed to say so. Some of the people who are on YA! are just mad because he won both times, because they are Democrats. Their candidates sucked both times and bit the dust both times. I voted for Bush because he is a man of his word and he is a religious man. I knew he would keep us safe and he has. I'm also a Veteran. I'm very proud of my country.

I voted for Mr. Bush. Nothing and no one pushed me. I voted for him twice. He is a good man. He has been good for our economy. He is taking the terrorism fight to the enemy. I do not agree with his social policies.
