I agree. I mean, it’s amazing to me when I hear people say how great a leader Clinton was. How can anyone think that? That would have to mean that you think lying to the American people is ok (or that honesty is not an element of leadership). Think about it, the president is a ROLE MODEL for families, citizens, and whoever. Infidelity and the president, especially in the public spotlight, are not ok. It’s just flat out not a way to exemplify a decent human being, and more so one in the public eye. Cheating is wrong; plain and simple. People who praise Clinton have to feel that his cheating and lying didn’t really matter. To me, fidelity and commitment to marriage is important, and as far as I’m concerned the president took a huge s*&t right on it. When you make an agreement to remain faithful, and then you don’t maintain that agreement, you’re an animal. The man was an animal, and he was even more of an animal for lying. He’s an animal. I’ll say it again, he was an animal. Aside from that, another positive point that people discuss when they talk about Clinton was that he did a great job with our economy and left us with a surplus budget. I my opinion it’s entirely UNTRUE when I hear people say Clinton did a great job with our economy. It’s so clear that Clinton was in the right place at the right time. It wasn’t because he made the right decisions regarding the economy; it was just that the tech boom occurred during his presidency which helped generate many new jobs, fiscal revenues, and more. As it turned out, the “tech boom” which included many new domestic manufacturing jobs eventually ended and left the U.S. anyway. NAFTA was a wrong decision that Clinton pushed through legislation, which helped destroy the little manufacturing that was left in the U.S. Overall, in my opinion he was not a great president at all; it just may just seem that way because of the way things are going now.

Yes, I do one of the greatest, he made a human personal mistake , he didn't go sending troops to Iraq to be slaughtered, maimed beyond recognition, breaking Constitutions creating a preemptive strike breaking the 2ND Constitution. What he did there isn't a man on answers if given the same opportunity would have turned it down. He'll be back with Hillary and once again we will get all the countries back to us they all loved Bill Clinton. I can't wait to see a balanced budget just heck of a great President back again.

If he wasn't, you wouldn't be asking this question. It seems strange to me the only past Presidents spoken about on a regular basis are Clinton and Carter for being such lousy Presidents and Reagan for being such a great President. Am I detecting a slant in that thought process?

Some people think that... I don't and you don't but some people do... Accept it and move on. (And it doesn't help that he is followed by an even bigger f***-up. I can see why people say that Bill is great just for that reason.)

You do know that the year is 2007? Clinton has not been in office for some time now... why don't we start thinking about the present.

i do no longer look on the guy, however the group. Jimmy Carter, to illustrate, grew to become into in all probability our maximum elementary president in an prolonged time. i've got confidence he rather grew to become into aspiring to do what grew to become into appropriate for the yank public. yet, he grew to become into scuffling with with Congress approximately what to do and to no longer do. subsequently, no longer something grew to become into executed with the aid of contest. that's what we face now. Bush isn't a bad guy. Congress isn't allowing him to end what grew to become into started in Iraq & Afganistan. If the yank public, or Congress did no longer want this scuffling with in Iraq, then there are pointers on the thank you to end this. the conventional public ought to report petitions or write letters. Congress ought to easily over rule Bush. yet, no one is doing something yet complaining. subsequently, no longer something is being executed. Why do I deliver this up? i do unlike Clinton, yet did Congress motivate him to realize this or to no longer concern approximately it? Did Congress, or the Democratic social gathering, advise he ought to easily sit down on it quite of inflicting waves that would effect the end results of the subsequent election? this is like New Orleans and Katrina. who's at fought whilst the levies have been to have been repaired 20 plus years in the past, and the money alotted for this grew to become into spent on a statue and park. the government might have spoke back greater effective, yet there does no longer have been a concern if the government had verify to make advantageous the money grew to become into used because it grew to become into ear marked. the concern is us human beings want to grip and not take action. Then we blame it at present President. that's no longer concern fixing.

Well, I'm a conservative and I don't think Clinton was that bad. I mean he wasn't as bad as Jimmy Carter, lol.

He was by no means great though.

The kind of people who go around calling the rest of us "mindless drones."

They believe everything that any non-mainstream American source tells them.

Nick, as a woman, I think Clinton was terrible. Made sexual harrassment and cheating garden variety behaviors for American males. And for those of us rearing children (particularly alone), we don't need that kind of male role models for our boys.
