Way I broke my husband is I went on strike .. he had to wash his own dishes and laundry and clean the house, i stayed with my dad for a week......if that dont work dump him outside with the water.

I agree with you! If I were you I would tell HIM to do the dishes, just keeping a special set of dishes and silver for myself that I would keep clean and put away where HE can't use them! Just my 2 cents.

While water conservation can be easy, changing habits can be very difficult. Tell him you'll compromise, using the rinse water to water plants inside and out (no, soap will not hurt them). Explain to him that the best thing to clean with is vinegar and water. Keep s spray bottle of this handy.
There are hundreds of uses for vinegar!

I clean houses and your husband is thinking of paying the bills. I am with you the dishwater would be too dirty. If he does not like the way you clean tell him to clean from now on........................

tell him if he wants you to cinserve water, you will use the dirty dish water to mop the floors with.. and then to save even more water, you can use it to make his meals.. dish floor soup anyone? eww :P

This, in cleaning and laundry? Why not. You're airing YOUR dirty laundry, ha ha. I feel so awful for you. Is he honestly that stingy? You should write a humorous book about him. Make everything funny about it, for your sanity's sake, hon. Laugh about it. If you're going to ride it out, that's the way....
