I'm a firm believer that basic morality should be a requirement for all teachers.

This person became involved with someone I know who uses the site. He has been dating her and he has given me some background information. I personally think that a teacher should be accountable from a moral stand-point. I just want a general consensus...there is no right or worng answer for me.I appreciate your honesty and candor.

If I were you I would rather go to the police with the information that I have and let them handle it. I would never be able to live with myself if 5-10-15 yrs down the line some student was hurt emotionally or physically because of this teacher.

I agree that it is our obligation as humans to do what we can to protect anyone from being hurt. You know one of this teachers secrets and who knows what other secrets that they might have.

Good luck!

Well, I'd have to wonder how you know it's the teacher. Few people use their real names on these things.

Beyond that, are you sure it matters? If a teacher is propositioning students, that's terrible. But is the fact that a teacher has an active sex life really relevant to their fitness as a teacher? If they're doing a good job and behaving appropriately at school, then I'm not sure it's anyone's business.

How would you know a thing like this--I'm sure he's not using his real name. I would be really, truly certain before reporting this to anyone...don't cost someone their job for no good reason.

As long as the men he is propositioning are adults--and he is in no way trying to be with any kids--I don't know that it's anybody's business but his...

NO! What he/she does on their own time is really nobody's business. As long as this teacher is not soliciting children or minors, then you should leave it alone. Why ruin someones career and life? They aren't doing anything illegal.

yes, although they prolly couldnt do anything about it if theres nothing to suggest that the teacher has ever done or said anything inappropriate to a student. and id say, the younger the kids she (he?!!) teaches, the bigger your obligation to tell someone.

I would certainly black mail this teacher. As per the school board, if it's between adults (no kids involved), what do you want them to do?
