Psychology is easiest, if you are looking for a B.S. major to get out of college and get a job. The world is full of psych., soc. (sosh), and poli.sci. majors. You can get a job in human resources, public relations, or high school guidance counsellor.

If you are serious about psychology, then you have to go to a liberal arts college or state university to study. (Harvard would be nice, but I assume you don't have the money. Also, you could spend four years at Harvard without meeting a professor.)

After you graduate, you will have to go to graduate school in clinical psychology (if clinical is your interest). If other options in psychology are your interests, then you will have to consult your professors at the graduate school where you get your doctorate to lean what you might do next.

As far as maths are concerned, psychology is intimately caught up in maths. So study hard. I think that it was Lord Kelvin who said, "If you can't calculate something, you can't understand it." In psychology, you will constantly read that 70% of the population is having sex, while 70% is not.
