Advice:
Stick to one category and you will be well on your way to getting the Orange Top Contributor tag. The more Best Answers in a category that you get, the better the chance is that you will have one. I don't see many Level 2 TC's out there. It usually hits around the third level mark. (Stay away from voting for a bit, your Best Answers level starts to slide a little here. When you look at the chart you will see % Best and other, the Other is voting, thumbs ups and answers in general.)
Also, watch your back. Now that you have been here a while, people's expectations of you will be higher because you have just about achieved the mid-point without being suspended!

To tell the truth, out of all the levels I've gotten to so far (I'm on level 6), it took me the longest to get from level 3 to level 4. That's because I didn't answer a lot every day (or as much as I am right now), and I asked questions and did not pick a Best Answer.
Answer as many questions as you can a day (60 at level 3). Then, vote on some Undecided QUestions. Do not ask a question it is a REALLY good one. Good luck.

Well congrats firs.
Don't ask too many Q's just answer. The voting is ok if you get bored but less point. Give what you think are good answers fitting the Q's, go for the best answer every time. Who knows you might get more than you think.
For me between 6 & 7 was the hardest, so this is a breeze, just keep going.

I'm about 1/2 way through level 3...just give good answers, and hope people choose you for best answer. Oh! go into your profile, and look through your answers, and vote for the best answers...you get a point for each one, and if you feel the best is yours, well you might have 10 more coming your way :D

First off congratulations on making level 3. Okay my advice is to answer as many questions up to the point of your daily limit and vote for unresolved questions as well as that will bump up you point total faster.

Congrats Mary.
Keep on answering, but be careful not to go too fast.
You can use up all of your quota for answering really quick.
Two Saturdays in a row I used up my quota of 80 Q's before I knew it.
But when you get to level 5 you have unlimited answers.it's not as far as you think.

answer questions but dont answer any/all of them. answer the ones that you feel you can answer pretty well. and dont go on ya just to answer and get to the next level otherwise itd feel like forever. think of ya as a hobby not a competition then it will feel like you've reached the next level very quickly.
