i know hes in pokemon sapphire because i caught him but my game erased i didnt trade it in. i found it but i cant remember where. thank you. and im sure i had him in pokemon sapphire.

You cannot capture ditto in sapphire, you have to trade one from Firered or Leafgreen if you want one in your Sapphire cartiage.

You can't catch Ditto in Sapphire. You must have traded with someone or something. But I'm pretty sure you can't catch one in Sapphire or Ruby.

You cannot unless you have Pokemon Fire Red or Leaf Green, if you do then catch it in there and trade it with your sapphire.
