He is shallow.

There are several reasons for this. Was he there for the birth of the baby? If yes, maybe this bothered him and at the moment he sees you as a Mother and not a Wife.

Secondly, maybe he does not want to add to the pressure already on you by demanding sex. he could also be tired from the new arrival.

It is also hard to feel sexy when you have a time limit of when and where you can do it. Things should get better, just make sure that you make time for your man and if possible talk to him about his feelings, but what ever you do. don't accuse when you talk to him.

It's really a combination of all the above: woman has become mother; the thought of how a man may hurt the woman resounds; and (most won't admit it, but) men can be emotional wrecks through a pregnancy, too. And there is a change in women, too (admit it!). At first, the "kink" sort of disappears, which is understandable considering changes in body, hormones, breastfeeding, etc. But, if you start encounters on a different, almost higher level (i.e. more loving and almost spiritual), the connection between you should blossom again into an even stronger, more fulfilling relationship. Oh, and the "kink" does come back, too!

Lakisha,

It's kind of redundant to add "wife", when you already said "my husband". It makes me wonder if this is legitimate. Plus, some more details would be nice. But I'll give it a go anyhow.

Are you sure your husband doesn't what to have sex? Has it been at least six weeks since the birth? He may be afraid that he will hurt you, or he might think you aren't up to it. Communication is the key. Talk to him. Use "I' terms. Don't put him on the defensive, by saying "You" this, or "you" that. Tell him that you miss his closeness and affection. Hope this helps.

In perfect love and perfect trust, Live and let live,

Brandie is correct. Before a wife becomes a mother she is a sexual being after she has a baby she becomes a maternal one. It takes some guys a while to get past the fact that their child came out of there, that it's not just their playground anymore. It's especially hard when they watch the actual birth.

LOL.....because now you arent woman , now you are "mommy". Mommy isn't sexy.

You have to make an effort to remind him otherwise. Dress nicely--really nicely. Do the whole makeup, hair thing. Flirt with him. Get a babysitter. Go out and don't talk about the baby. Have a few drinks.

Right now he sees you in a totally different light. Remind him of your other side.

Men go through emotional/chemical changes just like women. Talk with him!!! You might have to change a little as well to rekindle the fire that use to be there.

Maybe he doesn't want to risk getting you pregnant again or maybe he's afraid that you'll hate him if he pressures you into having sex.

you should ask husband and try to attract him to have sex. it is wife and wife only who can induce him to have sex with her. you can bind him with your love and affection. he will do everything you want.
