You try to kick a soccer ball, then try to hit a 90 plus mile an hour fast ball. See which one takes more skill.

Baseball is not just balls and bats... have you ever seen a baseball game. I can understand if you don't enjoy watching America's pastime, but to say it's a boring sport with balls and bats is just crazy. I understand your opinion, but baseball is my favorite sport and hobby.

Anyone who would dare ask a question this stupid probably plays with their bat and balls quite a bit.
Baseball requires excellent hand-eye coordination to hit, strength to hit with authority, speed to run the bases (and after others' hits), and intelligence to bring it all together. You run in baseball, but only when it has a purpose. Humanoids who actually dislike baseball couldn't wrap their little minds around a real complex concept like that.
Soccer is for nancy boys, candy-asses, and pseudo-athletes who fake injuries and don't even use their hands. If it is the most popular game, as its punk fans claim it is, that's a good explanation for why the world is so incredibly screwed up today. Baseball is the greatest sport in the world--bar none. . . .

What's the big deal with punctuation? Use it.

If you don't like baseball, stay out of the baseball area. You don't see me going into the soccer forums and jumping all over people for liking a sport that is typically supported by third-world poor countries and is the cheapest sport in the world to play, therefore, the most popular. Just leave it be.

i love baseball.. and soccer.. and basketball..and volleyball..and tennis... anyways! some people just like different things. when I see a batter hitting a good ball, i love to cheer and get excited! maybe you should just give it a chance. at first when i watched it, it was very boring for me because it was so organized, unlike basketball and soccer (in a liningup and waiting way). sometimes i like soccer and basketball more than baseball, it depends. i love playing softball in PE because it's more of a challenge than basketball. people can dribble with the basketball, dribbling with soccer is harder for me, but catching a high ball during a baseball game is really hard and rewarding! well that's just me. just because it looks boring on the tv doesn't mean that the players don't try their best

Soccer is what people play before they learn how to use their hands.

No sport requires the dexterity that baseball involves. Is there any other sport where you get shelved for blisters? No way. In football a lineman can break both his arms, cast them up, and play the next day.

I'd love to see you stand in the box - not even swing - against a Justin Verlander fastball. You would literally sh*t yourself. Is there anything on a soccer pitch that could kill you on any given play?

Soccer's great every four years. This is not one of those years.

You're an uneducated moron. Your opinion is garbage.

i love it when idiots like you ask questions like this, first off, you DO need extremely strong legs for both batting and pitching, also i consider hitting and pitching to be the 2 hardest things to do in all of sports, I can guarantee you that nobody who hasnt practiced a hell of a lot could hit a 90+ mph fastball or any of the other pitches thrown in baseball, 2nd of all, i highly doubt anyone who hasnt practiced a hell of alot could throw a ball 80+ mph and locate it within an extremely small area that hitters have trouble with.......

well you sir are a looser and baseball is not easy as it looks you have less than a second to deicde hit the ball dont hit and if its a fastball, curveball, breaking ball and many omer things so try doing that and soccer i know you have to run more and be in good condition but baseball is not an easy thing either

...which is the beauty of having so many different sports you can be part of or support. Baseball is a love of mine, but it's fine it you don't like it. Others might think it's ridiculous to bounce a ball off your head, but it doesn't make soccer a bad game - just not up that particular person's ally. Shame you have to be so judgmental.

That is the beauty of baseball! You get time to use your brain and strategize between moments of lightning fast action. Hitting a baseball is the hardest thing to do in all of sports - ask Michael Jordan. It is also very frightening. Stand in the box with Randy Johnson for one pitch. Make sure to wear a diaper!

I'm not going to write some long answer telling you why you should like baseball, and won't try to explain why I like the game. It's simple, if you don't like baseball, don't watch it.
