my husband in doing his nvq in plumbing and is stuck on this questi9on. he cannoot find the answer in any of his notes or books.
it says an electric shower uses
a: a vuenturi to boost the shower
b: an integral pump to boost flow rate
c: a capacitor to increase flow rate
d: a solenoid valve to increase the flow rate
if anyone could help i would be v gratefull.

well a venturi is a constriction in a pipe, used to increase flow in carburettors

booster pumps are usually fitted as a secondary unit...

a capacitor is an electrical component

and a solenoid is a switch...

My guess would be "B".
An integral electric pump to boost pressure.
High pressure+ low volume = water savings

What nation are you in? The showers in my area use water, not electricity. Except of course for bridal showers or baby showers. I've never been to one, and really don't know what they use.
