I don't think that's fair. They just made the finals for the first time ever, remember? They got swept because they were unlucky enough to come up against a powerhouse defense that they were too inexperienced to counter. That doesn't make them losers. And no city that supports its team the way Cleveland supported the Cavs deserves to be called a loser.
BTW, how did your team do this year?

It stands to reason that Cleveland would have a harder time putting together top professional sports teams.
1 - Where would you rather be. NYC, L.A. or
Cleveland?
2 - Which place has more millionaires per square
mile (of populated areas). NYC, L.A. or
Cleveland?
Number one is based on economics. If you are in the media capital of the world you most likely will get more exposure+more endorsements=more money. That is harder to do in Cleveland, unless you are LeBron James. That 22 year old young man has a bright future ahead of him on and off the basketball court.
Number two is based on consumer economics. People that have a lot of "disposable income" can afford all those expensive tickets to basketball games, etc etc etc.
Respect Cleveland, they are Americans too. Cleveland plays an important role in the fabric of this nation. No need to make it personal because it is ALL BUSINESS to the people that actually benefit from the NBA.

no i think they have the browns, indians, cavs
san antonio on the other hand has just a spurs and
root for them like a college town. i think they are
more of a loser, because they treat their basketball
team as if they are a college team.
That and their fans like low scoring games, and
foot defense. I can't blame them they are Chivas
fans and think Basketball is soccer. Both Chivas
and SPURs are dirty teams.
p.s. Jorge at least Alice is a SPURs fan and has
some class, you as a SPURs fan are proving
that city and team has no class.

I've been an Indians fan my entire life. I don't like the Browns or Cavs I have other favorite teams in those sports. But you are forgetting the 1997 World Series where the Indians were 2 outs away in the bottom of the 9th in game 7 and lost in 11 innings.
But to answer your question yes it is. Other loser sports towns are Buffalo (lost 4 straight Super Bowls no championships as a city), Philadelphia (Flyers won Stanely Cup in 1975 no championships since). There are more I just don't feel like naming them.

Cleveland's had a bunch of bad breaks since its last championship - the Browns in 1964. Some of that is Marty's fault, and some of it is overrated Indians squads in the mid-90's.

You don't live in Washington D.C that's why you are saying that. I am a sports fan i like basketball, football, soccer, hockey, even baseball. If you look at what these D.C teams have done this year you will feel sorry for me.
