Someday a future civilization will look back upon our maps and wonder why our map of Antarctica is so large!

A percentage of Antarctica has disappeared into the ocean never to return or be seen again! Global Warming is the cause of this dramatic change.

A large land bridge across the Bering Strait once connected the world, which is how animals, such as camels, which originated in America and early man were able to get to other parts of the world and vice-versa.

Eventually parts of San Francisco, LA will disappear beneath the ocean.

Our continents were once all in one piece called Pangea.

When Pangea broke apart the pieces that survived formed the continents we know today.

Remnants have been discovered beneath the ocean they are still researching these artifacts. Are they from Atlantis?

Probably they are from there, but the researchers will be careful before they make any definitive statement.

Almost every culture has had some sort of legend of an advanced culture! We are still exploring those.

Did Atlantis exist? Yes it did. Will we ever know for certain? Yes we will.

Yes. I also looked over the "who's, what's, where's, why's & how's" I dont believe in those giant monsters & creatures. I do believe there was a city. Dont know about "powerful gemstones" for them to use as a power source. Maybe they used crystals or gemstones like some spiritualists use today.
I believe that there was such a city only because we have many burried cities around the world. I just choose to believe it. Why not believe in a lost cities? There are lots of losts cities all over the world. Archaeologists believe they may have located the remains of Noah's Ark in Mt. Ararat. Even if that wasnt the ark there, it has to be somewhere! Let me put it this way. Imagine our civilization got wiped out, and thousands of years from now the survivors built another advanced technological civilization. Would they know about us?

Hell yes, the evidence would be everywhere. Every big city on this planet has structures no primitive civilization could ever construct. The Great Pyramid of Giza was the tallest building in the world until the Eiffel Tower was built, but it's puny compared to modern skyscrapers. There'd be plastic remains everywhere (the stuff is indestructable rubbish, it takes forever to break down), and artifacts made of metal alloys of a quality that no primitive smith could ever have produced. Just the way manufactured goods LOOK give them away as the product of a technological culture. Look at old Roman coins, and then at the coins in your pocket. The borders of the Roman coins are a mess, nothing at all like the fine precise borders of modern coins. So it goes with all manufactured goods. The craftsmanship of the things in modern hardware stores would blow away ancient peoples. If there was an advanced technological culture in Earth's past we'd know about it.

And don't even get started telling me the continent sank. We have a pretty good idea of what the topography of the ocean floor looks like and there are no drowned continents. For Atlantis to be real a section of continental crust would have to have subsided by kilometers in a short time. Something which is both unprecedented in the known geological record and would represent an event of such violence that it would have had radical effects on the rest of the planet, and there's no way we could have missed the evidence. Remember, if a section of the crust were to subside it would push mantle lava UP onto the surrounding land, and create huge lakes of lava on the planet's surface. We'd KNOW if anything like that happened in the last few thousand years, we'd SEE the huge fields of young volcanic rock.

Atlantis is like Young Earth Creationism, it's so far from plausible scientific reality it's not even funny.

I would say yes. They (sientists) think they existed in one of three locations. I think they did a lot more than create power from gemstones, as shown in the movie 'Atlantis the lost continent"

I don't know about the gemstones, but I'm sure Atlantis existed. In the Bible when Christ was resurrected, doesn't it say something about wicked cities being destroyed by fire and drowned by water and stuff, plains turned into mountans, mountains into plains and so on?

Yes I think it did.Its not that hard to believe with the way the earth changes over many years that a continent could have been covered by the ocean.Also who knows how advanced their technology was.
