my wife and i separated. haven't talked to her. lawyers involved and things are getting ugle. real ugly. i know she loves me but she has emotional problems. one day she told me she loved me so much and the next she's going to an attorney. we've had no closure just spit, attorneys, and garbage. i tried to be civil but she started bad mouthing me as soon as she left. there's no need for that. just move on. we've had no closure and i know she's angry and also know that she loved me more than anyone she was with but she's very angry over something she did and seems like she's taking it out on me through the divorce. like i said there hasn't been any closure just i love you to death and angry hurtful attorneys and divorce. seems to me when all this settles down both of us are going to be like, what the heck just happened. i still love them. what do you think?

You really don't give enough info in your question. Sounds like she wants no part of working it out. Unless you are both willing to work on it, not much hope of resolving anything. Sorry you are going through this. You need some kind of support so you can talk this out.

What are the grounds for divorce? did someone cheat? did you try seeing a counselor?

It sounds like there is no clarity as to what really happened. So, maybe you need the help of a counselor /therapist.. who could help both of you talk things out and figure out what is behind her actions and feelings.. and yours too.

The only ones benefiting from your inability to understand each other are the lawyers. They'll seize every penny you have and when everything is said and done, you'll just stand there with a huge bill from the attorney and nothing else.

Someone that has emotional problems is hard to deal with. It is funny, though, because you never said how you feel about her. Divorce doesn't end as friends all the time. It takes two very mature people to split and stay friends. In the end, who is right and who is wrong is not important. It is knowing you have tried and just can't make it work. I wish you good luck with your future.
