No, I believe that Mexico would soon be a part of Texas. With all the Texans in the US military leaving to return home, Texas' militia would be enormous. I think Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona, and Louisiana would join Texas too.

Just give them a little more time along with new mexico and arizona. Then they'll all be part of Mexico instead of the US.

Why on Earth would they want to?
They are one of the most politically powerful and influential states in the Union.
Besides, it would be silly to have to have a passport to go down to Dallas for the OU-Texas game every October.

Why would they? What would cause them to? I think that it would not be the best idea because once they were not part of the US, it would only be a matter of time before they are part of Mexico.

no... (and for those of you who don't know) it was never a part of the confederate states, either...
we were once our own country, but saw the greater good in joining the U.S.
i love our rich history, as well as our current role in the United States of America.
