Does anyone else get goose bumps when he sings? I dont even like opera but he is so good!

I couldn't have put that better. I've just said to hubby I'm all goose pimples and he was exactly the same. He's brill and good luck to him. He'll go far. I'm not an opera fan but I could listen to him all night. xx

I really do like opera and classical music but, sorry to say, Paul Potts did not give me goose bumps at all. OK, he's an ordinary nice fellow who, maybe, deserves a break in life but this is hardly 'opera'. Regret to say, the moment someone sings the 'World Cup' song, this is 'opera'. Had he sung anything else, I may have been slightly convinced ... but I wasn't.
I have nothing against anyone chasing their dreams to win a place on the Royal Variety. It's just a pity the nation mistakes this sort of thing for opera. It ain't!

He`s in danger of losing out to the "Blue Peter" effect.
Which is..... do you remember all the talented 11 and 12 year olds never won competitions on Blue Peter.. cos the toothless little cute 5 year old that drew a picture of `a box` with crayons won instead!

I do...its pure weird i get goose bumps all over just when i listen to him singing. He is amazing I hope he wins

Undoubtedly the best performer with regards to talent was Paul Potts.
He made me cry, it's so wonderful to hear a natural talent.
Even my 22yr old thought he was great and he plays in a Jazz Funk band !!.

I would really like him to win.
I am not really an opera fan but he makes it sound so easy & effortless. Also, he comes across as a very genuine guy that is totally unaware of how good his voice really is.

He was awesome, and although i'm not too fond of opera I can definitely appreciate a good singer when I hear one.

ive just managed to cast my vote for paul-its been engaged constantly-i feel its gunna be close between paul and connie and although i think shes so sweet i want paul to win
