Not at all. If we don't chase what we love, we don't know the meaning of true love. To love what you find is to settle.

Quite agree. This is usually true when u are looking for a man!! Hehe! You might think that you are being too picky and then force yourself to settle for the next best thing when what you really want is still out there somewhere! Ditto for anything else that you might be "seeking".

Loving what you have is far saner of the two choices.

Nothing will ever be good enough for the former. Always searching, never finding. A life of angst. A life of discontentment.

Tolerating what you find, accepting what you find and loving what you find is far more emotionally satisfying, it would seem.

Better to love what you find than never to find what you seek to love.

I agree to some extent. Some people find contentment with their lives even if they did not chase their dream. Some people are consumed with the bitterness of what could have been.

However disagree with the cautionary tone of this statement.

completely, if you don't find what your looking for in life your sure to settle for second best. Don't think it's necessarily a bad thing though, i don't think that everyone truly meets there soul mate and therefore it is surely better to be with someone that meets most of your expectations than have no-one to share your life with at all

No. Keep seeking what you love is O.K., but you might not necessarily love what you find.

I agree because you will end up settling for what is convenient and not what you really want.

Yes but you have to settle sooner or later or you'll end up a hermit.
