Hi, Just wondered how you all felt being 29 weeks pregnant? Physically I am feeling exhausted, my bump is making it difficult for me to get off the couch without either my partner helping me or me doing some sort of roll!LOL. When I take the dog out for a walk, I feel breathless adn the boobs I thought I would get really arent here yet!LOL This means alot to someone who has really never had much up top before now! Also, last Sunday I did the race for life here in Glasgow and I was swollen before I started , resembling the michelin man (I walked it). In spite of all this, I am so very much excited at becoming a mother. Im scared sh"tless but i am excited. How about you all?

To top shopect.. Im afraid that all pregnancies are different, hence the reason why I asked the question! I am a very fit person, apart from being hospitalized at the start through hyperemesis, I have kept up my fitness regime. I walk my dog for at leats an hour and 30 min a day, have a VERY active working life. I also swim as well. So If I am feeling a wee bit tired, and have back ache, well that proves that all pregnancies are all different! Some get tired , some dont at this stage, we cant generalise it all!

Hey there,

i am 31 weeks and felt pretty much the same at 29 weeks but the past week my energy is back - Still can't get off the sofa and can't put my socks on without rolling about like a whale and i guess this is not going to get much better.
I am still in full time work so at points during the day my **** goes really numb and it is embarrassing trying to get out of an office chair in front of everyone.

Before i was a 32 A and today i am a 36 B - I was really excited about getting Jordon boobs. My husband still thinks they are impressive - although now the colostrum is here, doesn't think they belong to him anymore but is happy for a time share!!!

I have swollen ankles almost all the time and like you i am very active - We had our antenatal class the other day and have both been very excited about the baby until this couple came in to talk about their experiences - all of which were really positive but the sight of the baby just made us both go ------SHHHHHHHH*****TTTTTTT!!!!

Anyway it's on it's way now and i am very much looking forward to meeting the baby!!

Good luck

Hiya,

I was pretty much the same and unfortunately it only gets worse the bigger you get. You have to learn all sorts of weird and wonderful ways of getting of sofas, beds out of cars etc but it is well worth it in the end.

You are feeling breathless as baby is pushing up on your diaphragm.... again something that won't go away until your babe is in arms but it isn't anything to worry about.

Well done on keeping fit and managing race for life and try to keep up with the walking for the final trimester it really helps in labour to be fit and ready for it all.

I wish you all the best for your impending arrival

I am 30 weeks and I still have a good amount of energy. However, I realize now why everyone tells me that I look good and that I don't look tired and such. Yesterday I saw my cousin in law who is 32 weeks and miserable. I also don't have the boobs yet, I had boobs to begin with but my pregnancy boobs have not yet arrived. Good luck and try to stay as active as you can, but get rest when your body needs it!!! Congratulations, you're almost there!!!

im barely 23 weeks and feel out of breath from walking around the mall and stuff. I get stuck to the couch because I can't get up without any help. Just like you. I can't imagine how i'd feel at 29 weeks.
