yeah he should cause he play good defense but marquez not going to make a difference the only way mexico can be better is by the players not cause marquez playing know they gonna change the way they play one player doesnt make a differnce itz all in the team.

Mexico needs more than Marquez. They beat Costa Rica but in all honesty Mexico sucked. I cant watch the games anymore because they suck so bad.
Honestly, I dont know what Sanchez is doing but changing players everygame will not help the team play better.
Is he having tryouts during the Gold Cup for Copa America? Mexico dropped to 26th in the world if I am not mistaken. That is horrible!!
We need Garcia Aspe back to kick someone in the A$$.

YES!! Mexico needs Rafa because without him the team is not balanced. Mexico is an offensive team and it needs to be balanced with Rafa's defending. he had better come back for the semifinal because they're going to need him to move to the final. once they're at the final most likely with USA they'll be missing him. i don't think we even have a chance against USA without Marquez. Mexico has been struggling against smaller teams so USA will be difficult without solid defense.

The Mexicans may have talented players, but they are an attacking-oriented team. Without Marquez, there won't be a balance in the team as there will be a big looping gap at the heart of the Mexicans defence.
As a skipper of the team, Marquez may not be inspirational, but he is good in reading of the game and led his defence really well.

I think they do cause they've been losing lately so it will be good if they used some helped, i mean rafa marquez is really good and if they use him they might have more chances of winning.

Yes. They always need better defenders. If they lost to the US (without most of their European players) 2-0 WITH Rafa, then imagine how bad they'll lose to the US without him.

No i dont think they need him. they should be winning with out him. mexico is playing teams that could be beat with bench
