steve nash his numbers were even better then his last two mvps.
but the NBA doesnt want to see a 3 time MVP and doesnt want to put nash in the same title as Magic Johnson who got 3 MVPs
besides what is MVP now? its never been most valuable player. if so it would be kobe or nash since both of thier teams had losing records when they didnt play while dirks team had a winning record when not present.
MVP always has been the best player on the best team and thats pretty much how its gonna be.
thats why it should go throughout th playoffs as you can see nash taking over while dirk became Dirk NoWHERE-ski.
but dirk did deserve it, you can say either 3 dirk nash kobe could of won it so im not too mad. and since its the best player on the best team thats why its okay that dirk got it...after all its always been a regular season reward and dirk was good enough to win it so its all good.
i say nash but dirk also deserved it

Nash was the OBVIOUS deserving MVP. The only reason why he didn't win it was because he was a victim of his own success. After he won 2 MVPs, people desperately wanted someone new, and the only other guys that could compete with him were Dirk and Kobe, though Nash is better than them. Kobe had a crappy year, so he was out of the question, but Dirk had a fantastic year, so he won MVP. He is probably one of the worst MVPs of all time.

Get your stats right its 3.4 asissts per game... anyways Nash should have won because he was the MOST VALUABLE PLAYER its not the award for Most Valuable Player on the team that won the most games or the best team during the regular season its the Most VALUABLE Player award. You could also make the argument for Kobe because his team needs him or they'd be a under 500 team but even with Kobe they will not win more than 49 games guaranteed. Nash is the MVP because his team cannot get it done without him and need him to run their offense and he makes the right decisions.

no way dirk should of won this award ! total crap ! nash, lebron, duncan & even kobe had better numbers ( check out nba.com & compare their numbers)
i knew nash, even though he deserved it, he was not going to win three in a row, they wouldnt let that happen, & with out lebron the cavs, would be the worse team in the nba ! i did a stast comparison of the above players & dirk, was only 5 th best when you take rebounds, scoring, assits, blocks, boards, turnovers, steals & shooting percetages, either nash, or lebron was way more deserving ! dirk as mvp, give me a break, what crap ! give it to the right person, nash, or maybe lebron !

You are right, Steve Nash dererves the award more than Dirk. But I think in would not be fair if Steve Nash became the MVP 3 times in a row (I am sorry if I am wrong , but he won the award 2 times in a row right?).The NBA would never make that move.

Youre right nash deserved MVP. I think that Dirk had a good deserved MVP last year, but this was Nash's year. But can the NBA please choose an MVP that isn't Dirk or Nash?
