Wow, what a moron. I'd hate to have a jack@s neighbor like that. I would try and punish him by not mowing the lawn at all. The cops are going to get pissed off at him for wasting their time when they have FAR more important things to do.

You have a choice to make. You either fight back and create a neighbor war, or you ignore his pettiness and keep on living your life. You don't say whether this is an ongoing problem, or if he is a new neighbor, but if he keeps calling the cops for stupid things, they will soon put him in his place.

It the police state that our nation creates. Everyone feels the need to level the playing field, or distribute the power. So we set standards, aiming for equlity. Your neighbor is excercising the bit of power he has.
