Just goto planned parenthood or somewhere. They have programs that can help you. Being 18 your parents dont need to know you are on it.. or really it none of thier business... you are old enough to make your own decisions. This is a very smart and mature decision. GL!

Your are 18 years old and in Ohio you are an adult and you are able to purchase your own birth control. Go to the Dr and get pills or any other kind that you would like or you can just go buy condoms which is even safer and she will never know. Congrats to you for being smart enough to want to have birth control.

Planned parenthood, health dept. , even your doctor and insurance company can bill in such a manner the actual reason for the visit and prescription is not known to third parties. The doctor will put it down as a general visit etc., most pharmacies Walgreen's, Walmart deal direct with the insurance companies and the only thing stating what med you got and receipt is the one they give you when you fill it. If over 15 by law they must protect your right to confidential birth control by any means. Talk with your doc.

Yes you can get birth control, but it is also best to set yourself up with an OBGYN. (Obstetrician, Gynecologist). Basically a vagina doctor. That way, she can prescribe the correct birth control for you and you can get all your shots (HPV virus one highly recommended. I just got it myself). You can also get tested for STD's and other problems so that you know you have a clean bill of health before you enter into any serious relationships.

Although this may take a little talking to the parents... it's worth it for your sexual health. I'm sure they will admire your responsibility. I know my mom pretty much freaked when I told her that I had sex with my boyfriend but I smoothed it over with the fact that I wanted to be safe as well. Good luck!

Trust me, I know what you're going through. What I would suggest is check your local clinics to find out, more than likely you will be able too. I know every state is different though, in the state of Arizona you can get BC when you're 16 and your parents don't have to know. Check your local clinics, that way you have options, you probably should talk to them about it too. But it's entirely up to you. Good luck!

It is imperative, that your doctor is bound by his or her oath. Your parents have no business finding out. If such a thing were to occur, you can be sure Your doctor has broken the secrecy act
