My daughter would like to go to The Honda Civic Tour. I don't know anything about this music. All I know is that Cobra Starship and Fall Out Boy is playing, but there may be more bands, and aparently my daughter is in love with cobra starship. Can you please tell me if it's age apropriate, and answer with something a little more relevant then: That music sucks, they're gay, let her go she'll have an amazing time(thats all you say) or it's inapropriate for any age tell her to listen to real music. Just anything that might be said, talked about, done, how bad are the lyrics, etc. I know mosh pits are dangerous, don't tell me that either. Thank you, your help is much apreciated.

And yes, i suppose my daughter already listens to some of this music, but if it's that inapropriate, she won't be listening to it anymore. Also, I'm on my daughters account right now, if your wondering why i've asked and answered questions about these bands.

I've never heard of Cobra Starship. Fall Out Boy isn't a bad band. I can't recall any of their songs having bad language but there are some sexual references that she probably won't get...I'd be more concerned about the crowd that's gonna be there. Every rock concert I've ever been to had a lot of drinking and you could smell marijuana everywhere. If you do let her go, I hope you or another parent are planning on going with her...

Go to iTunes. search for the names "Fall Out Boy" and "Cobra Starship".

You can play samples of many of the songs, and hear for yourself. You can also look for the little "explicit lyric" sign by the song title.

Heck, you can even have a listen to her cd's and hear what kind of music she's into. You should do that regardless.

I've heard that Pete of Fall Out Boy would talk about having homosexuality rights during their shows, and one mother was quite upset about it, so keep that in mind.

11 years old...hmm...well, Fall Out Boy talks about sex in complex words, and that would be up to your daughter to see if she would understand. I think it's age appropiate, in my opinion. I'm not sure about Cobra Starship, though...they're probably as appropriate as Fall Out Boy.

The music is appropriate but i've been to the concert and the crazed fans can get a little out of control so i recommend an adult chaperone

I wouldn't let my 11 year old go simply because of the crowd that would most likely be there.

Don't worry she is eleven it is not that bad let her go she will be fine, but talk to her and ask her what songs if you need to be really really sure.
