Even though they have the same players as last year (for the most part), their coaching staff is all-new, and that worries the he!! outta me. Norv Turner just seems like too NICE of a coach, anyone remember Mike Riley?

Worse with a capital "W". They lost both coordinators when they decided to be head coaches, they fired a coach that everyone respected and they pissed off L.T. in the process. They'll lose at least five games this year, but they can still win their division. As for being a Super bowl team, not this year at least.

If the past is any consideration, the Chargers will be worse. Norv Turner has never been that successful as a head coach. He was average at best in Washington, a total failure in Oakland, and has only achieved any form of success when he was just an offensive coordinator. Turner has had his chances to prove he is a quality head coach, and has not made anything out of those chances. How do you manage to have the worst passing offense in the NFL when you have Randy Moss on the roster?

I am not against the San Diego Chargers, I love Tomlinson, and they are one of the elite teams in the AFC...but, can anyone honestly say that Norv Turner is a better head coach than Marty Schottenheimer? That he is an upgrade?

Considering Norv history if I were a Charger fan I'd be worried also. He has had some good teams in terms of talent in the past and yet he failed to produce a winning record.

I think they will do slightly worse. Norv Turner wasn't a great coach, everyones aging, and they lost two good linebackers (Godfrey and Edwards)

still 14-2
1st in AFC West
lose in AFC divisional playoff game again

There record will be worse but they will probably be a better team! Theyll go 12 - 4 or 13 - 3 but will do better in the playoffs~

9-7 or 10-6 in 2007-08. In comparison to last year worse.

worse... turner sucks. You'd have been better going with a young, unproven coach than one with a proven track record.... or loosing!
