i`d like to know if it is any criminal record of murders registred along the historyof u.s.not including terror acts

At the time of the revolution there were only a little over 2 million people in the US and in 1900 75 million. Few records were kept on a national level about crime but what is available shows that the murder + homicide rate fluctuated from decade to decade. Given tho relatively low population and assuming the rate in the 19th century was no greater that the 20th the absolute numbers would be less than 20% the approximatly 1 million in 20th century.

I would venture the number from 1776-1900 is about double what it has been since. If you think about the killings of slaves (estimated 2.5M killed in atlantic slave trade), indians (about 350,000 killed from 1800-1890), the wild west, expansion to california, the slums of NYC gangs in the early 1800s, it wouldnt surprise me at all if murders actually occured more often prior to 1900
