Being the son of a veterinarian; I had horrible luck with pets.
My first dog, a Rotweiler, was pretty much insane, and ran into traffic at the age of four.
I had a fish for about a day... not sure why it died, and dad didn't know either.
I still have three dobermans, they currently are 12, and the biggest crotch hounds to walk the plannet.
I have a Malimua that is 18 that still thinks it's a puppy.
my Llama (Steve) lives with my brother in Colorado because his wife loves it. He's 22.
I have four horses that are 10, 12, 12, and 16
My iguana is 7 and seems to be addicted to cheetos.
and the parrot that my dad gave me is 47 and uses more profanity than I do.

Hello,

My Siamese/Persian mix passed away on her 21st birthday this past April. She never weighed more then 7 lbs, and had went down to 5 the last couple of yrs.But she was a paw full all her life.

I guess those Siamese are a tuff crowd.

I rescue rabbits and the oldest one here is 13.5. He has health issues (and has for 6 yrs) but he's still active and happy.

Currently have a cat who is 21. Her mother vanished when the litter was 2-3 weeks old. At the time we raised Australian Shepherds and the momma dog was due to whelp in 2 weeks. We figured she (who would mother anything little) would keep them warm and clean and we would bottle feed them. Instead she let her milk down and nursed the kittens until her pups were born. Years later it wasn't unusual to see one or more full grown cat curled up at her belly. Chessie, the momma dog, had to be put down at age 16 due to arthritis and general old age related health issues. Orion, the cat, now spends most of her day sleeping and she is blind, but her overall health is good.

Well done, that's a very good age! 95 in human years - well, depending on how many cat years you like to think there are to human years!

My cat lived to 18 years. The oldest cat I've met was 25, I've also met a couple of 23 year olds and a 21 year old. The most impressed I've been however is with a 19 year old cat who survived surgery to remove a big tumour from his leg - this was months ago and he lives happily to this day!

Chalice

EDIT: KMCirish's answer really annoyed me - all the old cat's I've mentioned above are allowed outside, including my own. When are people going to realise IT DEPENDS ON THE AREA YOU LIVE IN

My last cat lived to be 19 and she was an indoor/outdoor cat, as are 90% of British cats.

On a side note:
I agree with Chalice, it depends upon where you live whether or not it's safe to let your cat outside. I appreciate that there are some areas where it just simply isn't safe to do so, but there is no statistical evidence to prove that this increases life-span, it merely eliminates certain risks such as traffic and wild predators.

Wow that is incredible. Most of my kitties got hit by cars when they were young because I was young and let them outside. No more so I'll be able to tell you in about 15 years if my kitty lived longer than yours. Sorry just kidding but did you know how old the oldest cat that ever lived was?
It was 29 years old. Now that is really really old if you added it up. That is more than 200 years old WOW. Your kitty is what 133 in human years am I right?
