headers are expensive and so is the cost of installation. but headers wil provide better sound? what are the pros if i get them and the cons if i dont? car is 71 el camino, 350/5.7 L small block v8

headers are a pain in the you know where when you have to change the plugs or oil filter or get to your starter, your car will still sound good with the flowmasters on it without the headers, unless you plan on racing the car I wouldn't worry about putting headers on it, the pros are the engine will breathe better and give you a few more horsepower thats all.

If' you're going to spend money to put a Flowmaster on.
Go the whole way, and put good headers, crossflow pipe, and 2 1/2 inch pipe all the way back.

It will sound GREAT, and run much better.

You may spend around $400.00 but it's the best investment you could make for performance and sound quality.

you will get better performance from headers horsepower gains are more with a less restrictive exhaust and intake
