MAC and makeup forever (or something like that) has more profssional makeup, so they give great results. You just have to know what you're doing. They have a great color range. Also, if you canget a hold of DHC products, they are great, too. Shu Uemura's line of makeup is also great.
I don't like:Bobbi Brown, the Sephora brand, and Benefit.

I used to be a Chanel, MAC and Dior gal but now I am strictly a BEE LUSCIOUS COSMETICS gal. The quality is so much more superior to anything else out there from foundation to lip glosses and skincare that is heaven sent

Hey,
I really suggest these brands...

mac, bobby brown, chanel, bare minerals

If that does not fit your price range you could try...
maybeline,revelon && other brands like that where you can find them at your local drug store. If you can afford the higher price merchendise Sephora has plenty of makeup that works well.
I hope this helps!!
= -}
good luck!!!

this depends greatly on your budget. if money is not an issue then mac, benefit, laura mercier and rmk are my favourites. if you are on a budget then maybeline, rimell and colection 2000 for lipgloss and nail varnish wet and wild is quite good as is boots no 17 range.
