glass is called a super cooled liquid. it looks like a solid but in fact it is a liquid, so like all liquids it flows (but very very very slowly) over long periods of time glass tend to change its dimensions.

Glass is technically a liquid and over time it will shift based on flow. Substances without crystalline or lattice structures tend to shift (like liquid) over time.
