Makes you wonder if coach Riley was somehow behind the scenes. (just a thought) Shaq loves the limelight and this can be a motivator in keeping him slim and in shape before next season starts. A little pressure will go a long way toward keeping the weight off. The weight problem is Shaqs biggest drawback and takes months into the season to correct.

People (most people) love Shaquille O'Neal. He has a great personality for TV and everyone knows how much he likes to play around.

Wow, calling Shaq fat in a country full of corporate welfare ground sloths poisoning themselves eating McDonald's food. I can't think of a good synonym for it right now so I will just use the word, HYPOCRITICAL.

Here's what this whole thing is. IT IS A MARKETING PLOY. That's alright, that is what all TV shows are, marketing ploys. The networks come up with ideas and try to convince corporate America that a certain number of individuals will be exposed to their product if they advertise when a certain show is on.

I hope the kids learn some good life lessons so they don't remain obese their entire lives. That would suck.

shaq's not a perfect guy and he's made his share of mistakes, like everybody, but he's a generally good guy and has a lot of charisma. Mabye he could give some testimonial...."I used to be fat on the Lakers, but when I got traded I worked my butt off and now I'm all ripped in Miami", heheheheh. Don't mean that in a bad way, I'm just saying maybe people could relate to him somehow....

I think it would be a lot more meaningful if he weren't doing it on tv. And I'd still like to know whose idea it was and who's paying him.
