I would be convinced that I know more then most of my country and the rest of the world and keep finding excuses in my head to keep screwing things up.
Even though this course of action would probally hurt my friends in the general elections two years from now, and they probally want me to stay out of the public eye to the greatest extend possible, I would still do my thing.

Jimmy still walks around thinking he does no wrong...
George W. Bush and Jimmy Carter are tied for third, with approval ratings as low as, again for a limited time, 28% during their presidencies. (George W. Bush 28% 1/18-21/07, CBS Poll; Jimmy Carter 28% 6/29-7/2/79, Gallup Poll).

i myself think of that the certainty that the Obama's are the closest element to standard human beings we've ever had interior the White domicile performs a extensive place of their recognition. That and his calm, easy experience attitude to Governing.

If you were a Democratic-controlled Congress with an even lower approval rating would you think you'd done something wrong???

I would consider the lies that were reported by the main stream media. The constant attacks by the Democratic party that are founded on nothing more than hate generated politics. The President is our commander in chief. He does what is right for America not what is popular as did his predacessor. It seems that most Americans are ignorant when it comes War or politics. The President must do whats right and forget popularity.

Why not?, Congress has a lower approval rating than the President since the Dems took over, and they're convinced they know better than anybody else about everything and continue on as usual.

Not when you believe that god tells you that you are right, and then add to fact that all your life Daddy's friends and money have given you do over after do over. From your college choice, military service or should I say lack of, to digging dry hole after dry hole, then not only having daddy friends and money finance you, then buy you out for a profit, to letting you buy into a baseball team for a small sum of money but then selling your share for a huge profit. Then having Al Gonzalez reissue you a new Texas drivers license that expunges your two DWI. This is not only your due it is your right if your name is George W Bush, is this a great country or what

I'm not sure that the question can be answered honestly by anyone here. in my case if I thought I was doing the right thing I would not be concerned with my popularity score (approval rating). any person of integrity would not be concerned.

Don't expect George Bush to have the sense to care about anything other than continuing to do a very poor job of being the President of the United States of America.

If I were President I'd be smart enough to know that 29% doesn't meant sh!t because it doesn't include everyone in America. AND because twice in a row I was voted and majority picked me to be President.
